I am currently researching Clinical Psych Ph.D programs, and stumbled upon the SDSU/UCSD JDP with a concentration in Behavioral medicine. There are multiple professors doing research focused on health promotion, exercise, and nutrition, and these topics are directly in line with my research interests.

Since finding this program, I have been unable to find any other programs exactly like it. I was wondering if anybody here knew of other programs conducting similar research, or if you know of a way for me to find these programs more efficiently.

To be more specific about my research interests, anything regarding the effects of exericse, nutrition, behavior change on anxiety, depression, adhd would be up my alley.

Thanks so much.

Check out APA Div 38's website. It lists health psych/bmed training programs.

SDSU/UCSD has a very strong program but there are many people all over the country doing similar kinds of research on health behavior. It is less common to find entire training programs with a behavioral medicine focus or "track." More often you will find one or two individual faculty members within a clinical training program who focus on behavioral medicine.

this is not an uncommon area of work. I bet you will find people in this area in many departments, particular programs with a health emphasis.
