What are good resources to use for the Behavioral Science/Psychiatry sections of the boards? Are the Kaplan High Yield videos(4 in total) plus FA good enough? The normal length kaplan videos (60+) are very long and I don't know if I want to devote that much time to more low yield topics although I definitely want to get a good score. What about going through the questions regarding those two subjects on Firecracker? I'm looking for an easy and relatively quick way of mastering these two topics. Thanks!

Thanks for the reply. How long did it take you to get through the behavioral science lecture notes? It seems like the book is chock full of information. I was hoping I could get through behavioral science and psych within several days but is that not the case?

According to Tao Le, biostats/epi is very high yield. Kaplan covers those in 2 hours of lecture.

Took me 3-4 days. I would focus more on biostats, development, ethics and psychiatry. The rest of behavioral science is pretty straightforward. Kaplan discusses extra topics not even covered in FA or UWorld.

So, are the Kaplan Lecture notes, what you used while focusing more on the sections covering biostats, development, ethics, and psychiatry?

Just the videos at 2x speed for Kaplan. I also read FA and did USMLE Rx and UWorld questions.

Thanks! So you went through all the regular videos and not the high yield versions, correct(of which there are only 4 videos)? Did you annotate while watching them or did you just try to understand what was being taught without writing anything down?

My experience with the Kaplan videos is that they often go into details that are not in the text. I always end up annotating their facts/diagrams into my notes.
