I am interested in knowing about the new subspeciality of Developmental and behavioural peds. Can anyone please throw some light on this...What is the clinical scope of this field? What are the comments about this new field from the current residents/ Attendings in this field.

Thanks for replying. I am unable to find the discussion links. Please help me here. And if any additional input or links to more info about this subspeciality will be gratefully acknowledged. I want to know what it is be practising in this arena. I believe it is relatively new and has been created to ease the burden of child psychiatrists, but I am not sure. What would the fellowship programs be looking into, while selecting their candidates.
