Hello fellow doctors,

can anyone of you guide me the burs used for
CROWN CUTTING- METAL AND PFM
CLASS II PREP- AMALGAM
CLASS 3 PREP

also specify the numbers and type of bur (diamond or carbide)

330 or 245 bur for amalgam/composite preps.

A medium round end taper diamond bur for crown cutting.

thank you, what do you suggest diamonds or carbides?
and what about chamfer or flat end straight burs?

For crown preps, diamond burs. Chamfer burs for PFM/gold, all ceramic use shoulder burs.
