benefits of medical school parodies?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Three theories

1. The medical field is insanely demanding... These projects allow students to get together and do something, dare I say, "fun"

2. When I was applying I looked up schools I was interested in on YouTube. If I saw a good parody, I felt slightly comforted by the fact that I would be surrounding myself with reasonably light-hearted/funny people, should I choose to attend.

3. Medical school is secretly a joke and these parodies are made out of boredom since all the students have copious amounts of free time, spending money, and musical talent.

Can you explain this one?

Also, a rare appearance by QofQuimica in Pre-Allo. We're in the presence of greatness, folks.
Oh, come on, I've been officially helping mod this forum again for the past couple of months. You just noticed now? 😛

^ I am chuckling at that pic and tag line.
I was debating whether to change "dude" to "Earl." Like Erlenmeyer, you know? But I wasn't sure if it would be too over the top. (Pun mostly not intended.)

Haha, I'm not sure I would have caught it if you used "Earl." I like the dumbed down version better.🙂

Listener, you make me despair.

If you still have to ask, shame on you
  • Armstrong's response to the question what jazz is, cited by Max Jones et. al.: "Salute to Satchmo", I.P.C. Specialist & Professional Press Ltd 1970, page 25

I knew it!!! so are you saying they show these to resident programs?

edit: I never used the statement " If you have to ask..." I assume it is a way of saying the proposed question is obviously yes.
