Do different benzos actually have different clinical profiles, other than half life and mode of administration?
For instance, Valium is approved for muscle spasms. Is it really better for this than any other benzo or does it just have the indication?
Are there any other genuine differences between the benzos that aren't accounted for by the mode of administration (e.g. lorazepam is useful in catatonia and status because of its IV/IM forumlation) or half-life?
Thanks!
