Was just wondering if anyone was having trouble applying to UCB, Im trying to apply for spring 2008 but I keep getting this error,

You have chosen a major that does not accept applications or whose deadline has passed for Spring 2008

anyone else getting that?
Also when do they start accepting applications? I can't find anything on there website.

If you are trying to apply to optometry school, you can't apply for spring of 2008. Optometry schools only accept people for the fall. Try applying for fall of 2008 and see if that helps.

Thing is, I don't see an option for Fall 2008, theres only spring 2008 or fall 2007.

I think you have to wait until mid-September or something before Berkeley will have its new application up. I thought I read something about it being up on the 15th of September, but you might want to check on that one.

You're right, I actually called about this and their application isn't officially available until mid september but they did tell me that they were planning on putting up the application (like a copy or something) online sometime in august so that you can start on it or know what they want, I never followed up on that so I don't know if they did or not.
