Best Bank for a basic account?

Hey guys. I am going to open a new account after being in debt for awhile, and wonderd who are the best bank to go with? And do any offer debit cards straight away?

my 2 favorites are ING and Schwab. Both can be managed online and offer interest bearing accounts. Schwab has a fantastic ATM fee policy in which if you are charged any fees they reimburse it. They also offer an interest bearing checking account.
