Hi everyone, since the DAT is getting harder, I was wondering to study MCAT books excluding the physics section. I am assuming the bio, chm, orgo and verbal section might be the same or more in MCAT. There are a lot of question banks for MCAT. if somebody knows about examcrakers MCAT pls let me know. i am planning to take DAT in 4 months and any suggestions for how to study and score better and good books will be highly appreciated. Thanks.

I didn't use it but I did take a glance at it once. I was pretty impressed with what I saw, studying that for the DAT shouldn't be a problem. Be sure to dl the DAT Guidelines so as to know which topics you are responsible for.

agree 100% 👍

Disagree 100%👎

Textbooks have too much information ad are not a smart allocation of your time. You will inevitably spend valuable time studying pointless mterial that you do not need to know for the DAT.

If you have four months, I would start with the Kaplan Blue Book and learn that 100% within the next 2 or 3 months. Then you'll have all the basics down and can get into the details towards then end (last month or so, which isn't bad since a lot of people only study for one month).

Using a textbook does not mean one needs to pay attention to every paragraph. The use of sources other than the usual may make a difference between high and low dat scores.

reading textbook is an inefficient method in my opinion. just get buch of dAT books and know everything cold. check out my recommendations in my blog on my signature below
