Hello, would you guys consider Miami or LA a better city to open a new or buy an old dental practice in? Does it make any difference if you are an orthodontist or a general dentist in these areas. Feel free to add any other related thoughts (not looking for a "you haven't even finished dental school yet!!" this is just a hypothetical question)

Not sure if trolling ^, newly graduated orthodontists get paid about $1000/day in LA

Unless you speak Spanish, forget about Miami.

Go to New Mexico..

Or go to Miami..

Go to where you want to live and make it work. Or go to New Mexico where on average you may make more. If you want to base your life simply expecting the average outcomes you will probably have below average results. That being said go somewhere, anywhere, and you can hustle and make it work. Choosing either LA or Miami is an uphill battle, but if you are motivated, you can make a good life for yourself. This is advice i have received from dentists in very saturated areas. I'm just a D4
