I'm thinking Chase Blue Sapphire- does anyone else have one they really like?

The Chase Sapphire Preferred is one of the best overall travel cards, and I really like the Southwest Rapid Rewards Priority card because its a $149 annual fee but you get a $75 annual travel credit and 7500 points annually (with about $112), so $187 to use on Southwest per year with the card

Depends on what you want. I would recommend a no annual fee, easy to get card like the Chase Freedom Unlimited.

This card has has 1.5% cash back for all purchases (can be more for things like groceries), meaning you will make $15 if you spend $1,000 on ERAS fees. But it has a $200 reward for spending $500 in the first 3 months it is open. Should hit that easy with ERAS.

I like it more than other cards like Citi Double Case (2% cash back all purchases, no sign on bonus) because it has the potential for 5% back on groceries (consistently a high spending category for me) and more cash back on travel. It also integrates with my other Chase cards easily.

My conflict: I have this card, and if you choose it I can get a bonus if you use my referral code. DM if interested!

I got the IHG Rewards MasterCard for the benefits because I always stay with IHG anyway. I opened it a couple months ago so I could use the every 4th night free benefit with rewards night redemption for some long term stay hotels for away rotations. From what I’ve read online the points aren’t worth as much as other rewards card points but for my situation I’ve already saved thousands with it.

If not for that I would get the chase sapphire reserve (or preferred) because I travel a lot (in non-covid times)

May I be included on said DMs? The only one I have is discover and I doubt it even takes it.

Pretty sure i used the Chase Sapphire Reserve for mine haha

I'd find one with a really good introductory bonus for spending the minimum within the first 90 days. Chase Sapphire Reserve used to be 100k points but that ended long ago.

Chase sapphire preferred has a really high sign up bonus (highest of any chase card) right now. $1000 back if you spend $4000 in the first 3 months. I just got it. Annual fee of $95 but decent rewards and the sign up bonus obviously more than pays for it. You can always ask to change to a no annual fee card like the freedom flex which has great rewards after a year, which is what I’m planning to do.

I have a Delta gold. Our city is big for Delta. We earn a lot of points for flights. Free checked bag for me and the wife each. That's like a free $90 per flight. Plus extra snacks. Would recommend if you plan to fly Delta a lot. Otherwise, Chase Sapphire sounds like better plan
