I'm looking for a good first MCAT to take to figure out where I stand: strengths, weaknesses, etc. I'd like it to be free and full length...being computer based would be a huge bonus. After that, I will get books, start studying, etc.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

Diagnostics are useless but if you really want to take one, most people take AAMC 3 or one of the Gold Standard exams.

Agreed. AAMC 3 is free and is like a real MCAT, so that would be the best. I would save it for a practice test for after you study, though, so you don't waste it as a "diagnostic."

Yes, many people take AAMC 3 just because it's free.. but it's actually one of the good ones. I would spend money on TBR or GS FL's as a diagnostic to see the question types, etc.
