Whelp... what do you guys think is the best review book for Immuno. I am not too confident that our professor taught us all that well, so I want to make sure I am not totally missing the boat by being confident that our school notes will be a good enough basis for review.

So... what book do you think is the best? and Why?

Thanks

Based on my research, a book called "Medical Microbiology and Immunology" by Levinson (Lange series) but just the Immuno section. If you look at FA, most of the diagrams in the Immuno section come from this book. G'luck.

I have both the Levinson /Lange Medical Micro&Immuno and HY Immunology.

I'm not sure which one I like more, but the Levinson one is more readable IMO.

Immuno is the hard one - most books out there just plain suck for this topic. The only one that is good (in my opinion) is the Kaplan white book. It is excellent. The other one that is good (but not complete) is "how the immune system works." There are some other ones with reviews on gotmedbooks.com, you can check some other ones out there.

Take care,

levinson book kicks ass

if anyone needs Levinson, I got a brand new spare copy i'm selling for half price

so i got the gray and orange levinson microbiology and Immuno book to get my immunology studying in.

BUT, the Immuno part itself is pretty damn long.

For the people out there that used this book...
how long did it take you to get through all the Immuno?
Were you able to get it done in a day?

maybe im just a slow reader, but it'll probably be a pretty long day for me to get throught it all.

the Levinson book is fantastic, you can get through it pretty quickly, the 90 pages fly by with how well they explain everything
