I will be attending residency this July, and I've decided to moonlight on the weekends. Is a corporate gig the only reasonable place to do this? Are there private practices looking for someone for 1 day a week?

Side note, what is a good compensation package for this type of work, guaranteed $$ per day or % collections?

I would be careful to read the rules of your residency contract, many have rules forbidding moonlighting. Probably corp would be the easiest, but there might be private practices looking for weekend coverage.

It takes a while to set up the blog and run Adsense or affiliate marketing

Yes, there are private practice and non-corporate jobs out there that will hire you on the weekends. But the jobs won't always be conveniently listed online for you to click and apply. You will need to network the old fashioned way to find them by word of mouth.
