I'm fairly certain I can manage PS.

But for BS and VR, what materials did you guys use that seemed to be effective. I used TPRH VR and the AAMC practice for VR, and for BS I used TBR. I've heard kaplan for bio is good. Any truth to this?

Also, have you guys had luck with Gold Standard practice exams?

GS exams aren't worth taking. They are not representative of the MCAT and typically get poor reviews from posters.

For BS, BR is a good choice for content review in O-Chem (though very in-depth) and practice passages in both O-Chem and Bio. However, TPR or EK are the better choices for Bio content review. Kaplan is mediocre in all sections except verbal where it's pretty bad. I would pick better materials since they're relatively easy to obtain.

This is the TPR Bio book I'm referring to: http://www.amazon.com/Biology-Revie...sr=8-1&keywords=princeton+review+mcat+biology

TPRH science workbook has a lot of great biology and organic chemistry passages.

Some of the bio ones are very challenging.

I noticed you said Kaplan is bad. I have a month left now that my Kaplan course is over. I want to do a crash course with your schedule to be able to get at least some of that solid practice. What would you recommend? Tackle weak spots with full TBR sections, or do a full 1/3rd of practice passages based on your schedule? Only doing passages should shorten the time on your schedule because I wont be reading content unless I have to refresh.

Also, EK doesn't seem to reflect the AAMC style as well as Kaplan. I scored well (10-11) in verbal on Kaplan and Aamc #7, but bombed EK today. What should I do?

Thank you so much in advance, your opinion is super important to me!
