I found NickNaylor’s and TheKDizzle’s MDApps profiles to be incredibly helpful for getting a sense of the application process and some of the ECs top applicants have. Are there any similarly well-done MDApps profiles that are slightly more recent?

You can use the advanced search tool to filter profiles by GPA, MCAT, state of residence, age, ethnicity, schools applied to, etc. Another resource that can give you an idea of the profile of accepted (or rejected) medical school acceptances is Reddit. If you search "Reddit med school acceptance thread" on Google, you should find a very helpful thread similar to MDApps.

How credible is the authenticity of these profiles?

Was wondering the same thing.

Anyone can post, so it's possible there may be people completely making things up, but there are also plenty of individuals who are honest about their stats and schools because they are hoping to help others interested in applying to medical school. Sometimes there's red flags on a user's profile, such as someone getting accepted to serval top 10's with less than 500 MCAT.

Are there any MD Apps profiles that can help give ideas about what to write for secondary applications?

MDApps is more for broad school list help. For secondary apps, you're probably better off Googling "Duke secondary example" or "Med school adversity essay example" for instance
