Best mini fridges?

Hi guys,

I'll be living in a dorm for at least a year of med school and want to grab a mini fridge for the room. Looking around online, it seems like most of them are pretty hit or miss. I've never owned one before.

Do you guys have any recommendations for good mini fridges?

A minifridge either works or it doesn't. Plus you'll either throw it out or sell it to some incoming undergraduate in a year or two. Just buy whichever one is on sale at walmart this time of year.

Get the type with the freezer door. The largest size you are allowed in dorm.

They're not hit or miss. They're "keeps things cold" vs "you bought a cardboard box by accident. Go buy a minifridge. Yes, ANY minifridge."

Craigslist, wait until someone has a big one (one of the 3ft tall stainless jobbies) for cheap. I got a stainless one with a freezer section, biggest I've seen, for only $40 or so when the undergrads were moving out/moving on (back in college, I have a real fridge now).

It's not the cheapest, but I think for the size and everything it has, it's a really good deal!
