A friend and I were scour the internet for this info and all commentary from SDN seems to be from back in the 2000s (so long ago!) Does anyone have any updated ideas? Or does the same still hold true?

I think there's a little more nuance to ranking them than officedeopt suggests.

while I agree that "top 20" isn't necessarily the most useful way to think about programs, you should look for programs with subspecialties that interest you. in my current city there are 2 programs--one clearly provides better training than the other as virtually all of the MFM cases besides gest Diabetes and HTN get sent to a single hospital.

i bet there's someone in the department who would be willing to help you on this.

best of luck

Brigham and WOMEN'S is pretty good for OB-GYN.
