Can someone give a basic idea of the good places for a rheumatology fellowship (predominantly research oriented)? I saw a thread for pulmonary critical care like this, but nothing for rheumatology or nephrology. Inputs appreciated. Thanks

It's hard to do rankings on the level of fellowship. Programs are small enough that personalities matter a lot. In addition, the field is diverse enough that if you happen to have a guru or the patient population for a particular condition, your program might skew more to that condition than others. All that being said, a few programs got shout-outs in a previous thread on the subject:

US News also ranks programs, that's probably as close to a solid ranking as you're gonna get. The methodology is completely dependent on a survey. As silly as US News is, it probably beats the hearsay and gossip you're gonna get on this site.
