Hello,
I am a med/grad student who has been doing research in a Plastics related lab (bench work) for the past several months and I am trying to get an idea of the kinds of journals that are looked upon highly in the field before I start to write up my work. I basically know of "Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery" and that's about it. I was wondering what those in the field consider the top journals. Also, if I decide to publish in a non-plastics related journal, would that look worse or does impact factor come into play here? I am just trying to get an idea of what I should be shooting for and how things will be looked at when I apply for residency. Any insight would be very much appreciated,
