I know we have a poll on what materials are the best.....
What about practice tests?

What did you use and which do you think are most representative of the real thing?

I would say that TopScore proved to be the best practice test that I took. It was the most representative of the real DAT exam, in terms of everything - difficulty level, types of RC passages, variety of QR questions, and representation of the PAT section.

I found from personal experience that DAT Achiever was far more difficult than the real DAT exam and causes unnecessary stress and panic.

Thanks so much. I'm on the fence about purchasing achiever. Did you find Topscore good for the sciences as well?

Isn't topscore's PAT lazily made tho?
i heard PAT questions in test 1 = test 2 = test 3

Topscore AND achiever + crack DAT PAT= best combo.

Also, DATqvault is pretty good. I think it's just important to get your hands on as many tests as possible. Qvault is cheap, I would recommend it.

The sciences in TopScore were pretty representative of the science questions on the real DAT. Destroyer is probably slightly harder than the actual exam, but it covers every topic thoroughly.

For TopScore PAT, yes some questions were repeated but generally speaking it was a fair representation of the actual exam.

what do you think about the difficulties of qvaut's questions. do you think they are easier than the real DAT? are there practice exams easier than the real DAT?
