Best programs for aways

Hi guys,

I want to reach out to see if anyone has had particularly good experiences doing aways at certain programs. I have the opportunity to do 2 aways prior to submitting my application. I don't have any PM&R faculty at my institution, so ideally I'd like to garner two strong letters over the summer. Of course, that's not the only criteria for a good away rotation experience. Let me list some criteria that would be nice:

-Broad perspective of the field of PM&R
-Ample interaction with faculty and hopefully the PD
-Constructive, education-focused atmosphere

At the moment, I'm looking at smaller programs because I imagine it'll be more inclusive--for example, Utah. I'd simply hate to get brushed aside for a month w/o much faculty contact.

Mayo, Temple, Jeff, Kessler all had great away rotations that would fulfill your criteria.

UVA or Carolinas would be great options as well that fit your desires

I rotated at Kessler and Spaulding as a 4th year. they both were great.
