I'm 30 years old and will be applying this summer. I'm taking the MCAT on May 31. I'm just finishing organic chemistry now, but general bio, chemistry, and physics are in the distant past.
I took the AAMC Practice Test 3 and did pretty well: 12/12/10. I noticed a bunch of stuff that I used to know, but couldn't quite recall (particularly electricity and magnetism, work/energy, optics, and cell biology).
So I'm looking for a review book or books that will cover these basics and remind me of what I need to know. I'm really looking for just the essential stuff, not comprehensive textbook-like overviews. Once I see pictures of the Krebs cycle or Maxwell's equations and whatnot the knowledge will come back to me.
What do you guys recommend? I have a full time job and am taking classes so I don't have hours a day to devote to this. I am a pretty quick learner though.
