so I've been reading these posts for a while and it seems that Physics is notoriously the most difficult section on the OAT (or at least the most people complain about Physics). I hoping to take the OAT late this fall or early winter and I was wondering if you fine folks can help me out with a scheduling issue.

Here are my two options to schedule classes before OAT:

two semesters O-Chem and one semester Physics

-or-

two semesters Physics and one semester O-Chem.

Which do you think would be best in order to adequately prepare for the OAT?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

You will need 2 semesters of Physics. Don't even think about it. I took 1 semester of Organic Chemistry.. and the second part?...I took care of it myself🙂. got a 330 on Org section. You can do it.

Your best bet is to invest more time into Physics. At least in my case, time investment in Physics paid off a lot more than in O-chem. I had 3 weeks to study for the OAT, and invested 6 days or so in O-chem and only 3 days in physics. But, on test day, my score for physics improved by 90 points from my initial "cold turkey" Kaplan practice test, and my O-chem only improved by 20 points. Physics was by far the best way for me to boost my TS and AA scores. It is different for everyone though. And keep in mind that I had taken a full year of O-chem and physics a year or two before the OAT.

hey! i took the OAT and my lowest scores were orgo and physics, other than that i was good, but i just got the kaplan review notes (big book) and I dont know where to start, how do I approach studying? i'm in undergrad (like everyone else) and I feel that its really hard to balance school and OAT
