In an older thread, Crush Step 3, Secrets, Swanson's, NMS, & a couple others were mentioned and recommended for Step 3 review. I think Crush Step 3 was the most popular.

Is there a more recent 'must have' to prepare for Step 3?

master the boards from kaplan is a very nice quick review book

I have to agree. I've read through the majority of this book and it surpasses both Crush Step 3 and First Aid by far. I haven't read Strong Medicine, but the Kaplan book is very good and I can't imagine needing anything else besides it, USMLEWorld for Step 3 and USMLEWorld CCS cases.

UW qbank & CCS, Archer review(video lecture/ccs), and of course Premier Review lecture notes.:meanie:

I am studying for Step II, but I am reading the Kaplan book master the boards for step III because I heard that it is really good.

SO far I like it a lot. But let me ask you guys since you have all taken step two, do you think that this book is also good study for step II or only for step III?
