Hello all,
I'll be taking Step 1 next June and I have always had the necessity/habit of starting my review early for standardized tests. I plan to annotate the supplemental board review material into First Aid 2011 and then review. But in order to annotate, I have to know what the best sources are. Here is what I am using/buying so far:

BRS biochemistry flashcards
Rapid Review/ Goljan Biochemistry
Microcards: Microbiology Flashcards
Clinical Micro Made Ridiculously Simple
High Yield Neuroanatomy
High Yield Immunology
BRS Physiology
Rapid Review/ Goljan Pathology

I Need advice on resources for the following:

1) Pharmacology: What is a good review book that could work for supplementing the class and for Step 1? Preferably flash cards and obviously with few errors.

2) Anatomy? I used BRS Gross anatomy for my course but it was too dense and I found a few errors as well.

3)Embryology? I'm planning on just sticking to First Aid for this

4) Histology?

Anything crucial that I'm missing? Any advice would be awesome. Thanks in advance. Good luck to all who are taking the test and to those awaiting their scores.

Good job so far man. I agree with a lot of the choices with FA overseeing all of em.

Anatomy: nothing beats doing BRS Anatomy and UMich Anatomy questions with a good ol' copy of Netters besides you.

Embryo: I really liked HY but found it a little long. FA and gunner training seem to be helping me.

Biochem: I would like to know more about RR Biochem. I don't have a good Biochem book and our class sucked. Was hoping FA and GT would be enough.

Sorry can't help more. I'm in the same boat.

If you have to know what the best sources are, maybe you should check out the Step 1 forum. You'll get all the info you can handle there.
