I thought i was well prepped in both areas yet it didnt turn out to be so, can you guys suggest what are the best study materials for these areas and where i can find more practice tests?

Are the pearson practice tests detailed in advising what areas need to be practiced more?
is the collins really worth the $300?
between kaplan/barron/collin whats the best and are there better materials to use?

Thanks

I was also very curious for these sections anyone can help out? I heard collins and kaplan courses are both great if you can afford them, Chad's videos are great for Bio and Chem

Dr. Collins' is worth using to get a feel for what the PCAT has in store for you in terms of chemistry and QA. With so many practice tests, you can practice timing yourself so that when the PCAT comes around, you won't be trippin balls when you're on question 30 with 2 minutes left and have to tackle another 15 or so problems.

Collins definitely helped me with chem, verbal and it would have helped with quant but none of the calc i studied for showed up. The collins quant shows you many shortcuts to solve otherwise hard/long problems.

true i did read many positive reviews, that collins is helpful with math, chem and verbal.

so it is worth it. 😀

I was wondering about the quant as i've been studying. On the Dr. Collins it has stuff about area and radius. Am I supposed to know this stuff for the upcoming PCAT in September?
