best study movies

i usually like to put in a movie on the dvd in the background while i study.... to get some background noice but nothing that will be distracting like the news, sports or radio (new information will catch my attention)..... so here are my top 5 study movies.

anybody else want to opine?

good will hunting


common theme - smart people start off as slackers (or crazy), eventually reaching their full potential

That's cool you can study with a movie in the background. I have a really hard time getting anything done with a movie/TV/radio going. I learn the best in total silence (yeah, that's impossible!). 🙂

This is a little off, but HOOSIERS is the best inspiration movie in the world. Seriously, I tear up every time I watch it. Every time I have a tough final, and need a little strength to get me through it, Hoosiers pulls me through...at least the soundtrack, if not the movie.

Watch The Paper Chase. It makes me want to study. Gross Anatomy is great too.
