I'm going to take the boards this coming Summer, and just wanted to know what everyone thinks is the best way to approach path/micro. First Aid, decks? I'm trying to land a 90 on the thing, so any information would be great

Thanks

Firstly, learn (not memorize) as many old board questions as you can, especially the more recently released ones. then use the dental decks as reference and to get a stronger grasp on the concepts. finally,(like the week/month before, depending on your study schedule), use kaplans online Qbank to hone in your testing/reasoning skills (its not always about what u know, but HOW you test on it). I'll be honest with you, i didnt get a 90 (i got an 88), but I only did one of those 3 (Qbank), and after talking to those who did score well, i can assure you thats all you really need to do. I'm sure some do more, and study for months in advance, but in my opinion thats overkill and can just end up overstressing you on exam day. Good luck!!

With the decks, old exams and the firstaid review book 90+ is doable if you put the time in. I think any more as far as sources is more than necessary unless you are starting to study now.
