What was the best and most effective text book did you use for Biology? I seriously doubt the test will be based on general information although how it can be applied.
Actually the DAT Biology section tests more on breadth than depth. Sure, it's helpful to know the details, but knowing the basics should get you at least a 20. Answering just a few extra questions correctly can improve your score 2-3 points, and that's where knowing details pays off.
Use Cliffs AP Bio for a great general review and Feralis notes, which I believe combines Cliffs and several other resources. Those are the only two Bio sources I used and I got a 21. DAT Destroyer is great for practice questions.
Thank everyone for the input...at this point I am using Campbell. I will pick up a copy of Cliffs notes for AP biology...and DAT destroyer is great for practice questions? I haven't heard of that one. I will Google it!! Thanks for your suggestions that will help me prepare for the DAT!

$125 for both. The DAT destroyer was $150 new the Math Destroyer was $100 new. No writing in either, both in great shape. For $25 more I'll throw in the Kaplan and Cliffs.
