So, I'm currently doing an informal post-bacc by taking undergraduate courses to increase my gpa. Was at a 2.84 cGPA, and 2.92 sGPA. By the end of this semester, they should be closer to 3.0 in both regards. I'm on track to take more classes this coming spring semester to remedy my uGPA some more, mainly to increase my sGPA.
With regards to the MCAT, Is the April Mcat date too late? Would applying in May be too late? Have I shot my self in the foot for not taking the January 22/23 MCAT? I know people can already apply, but should I be looking at applications right now? I don't have my MCAT score yet, so should I apply and tell them that I'm taking it in April?
I really don't want to wait another year of not doing anything when I should have a great upward trend of improvement in my GPA and hopefully a stellar MCAT score, but my timing is a bit off.
What do you guys think?
