Best Time to Interview

Hey everyone, I'm planning to schedule my 4th year rotations and I would like to know when is the optimal time most students interview for anesthesiology? Do most interviews start earlier than other specialties? I can take time off during the end of November up to the start of January or I can choose January until February? Which time period do you think is best?

interview season is nov-jan. if you are interested in gas... do rotations at places that you want to go, but you might think are unattainable (i.e.- long shots) and do well there. that way, if you mess up, it's ok... but if you do well, you will have two things: 1) a better shot at matching and 2) possibly a letter of rec from a top program.
