Best time to switch companies?

What is the best way to switch retail companies in order to get the most leverage when first becoming a pharmacist?

1) During pharmacy school before graduation
2) After graduating pharmacy school and becoming licensed

How would switching companies at these times affect the starting salary that you're offered as a pharmacist?

Unless sign on to work as an RPh prior to graduation, your intern work affects salary very little.

I'd recommend after graduation and licensure. I have heard some stories about salary conversion issues when people stay with the same company and switch from intern to graduate to RPh.
