Hey everyone,
I'm a current Tufts student in my 2nd year of undergrad. Can anyone recommend some good ways to find doctors to contact for shadowing in the boston area?

Just email physicians via hospital websites. There are tons of hospitals nearby. You can also try the volunteer departments/coordinators, as I know at least a couple of Partners facilities direct premeds there.

the brigham has a volunteer "ambassador" program...after 120 hrs of volunteering, the volunteer office sets you up with a shadow. For more info look it up on the brigham office of volunteering website.

Either that or listen to the above posters - their methods are good too.

Pick up the phone and start calling.

Thanks! In case if anyone knows of any nice depts or hospitals - don't be shy! 🙂

Go talk to your premed office. My institution (also in Boston) has a network/database of alums who are physicians and a lot of them are in Boston, which I'm sure is the case with a lot of Tufts alums. I'd bet Tufts has a similar networking system.
