best way to tackle ochem...

I am currently reading through the ochem in Kaplan. Due to the amount of reactions and their specificity, its taking quite a while to complete each chapter and have the reactions memorized...

I was wondering what the best approach to all these equations are?

I saw that destroyer has road-maps, but wouldn't it be difficult to recall all of that info on the exam (especially when your pressed for time)?

This is my approach and it worked for me, I thought i was doomed for ochem but i spent literally 1 day going over and memorizing destroyer ochem road maps and then going through all of destroyer...basically the road maps and reactions you memorize will be put to test when you do the destroyer questions in ochem and trust me once you do all of them twice you will gain a whole new understanding for ochem...it works just try it...i think kbb ochem reaction are waaay to basic and destroyer goes in pretty well its an alternative to just reading away in the kbb ochem section...you get a hands on experience haha

because destroyer is built in a way to help you memorize them, the questions are made to help you memorize and know what does what...just try it youll know what i mean

MCAT 1001 Ochem questions by examkrackers is good too. It has a few mistakes in it but overall its really good for getting the basics down 👍

Destroyer nails the concepts and the reactions if you know destroyer you will automatically know every concept and theory as well as reaction that can appear on your DAT. It worth the time to go over it carefully several times.
