3.7 cgpa and a 3.4 sgpa or a 3.55 cgpa and a 3.5 sgpa

srsly?? You and your roommate need to find something else to do...

But since you asked, the 3.7/3.4 looks better IMO. The difference in sGPA is a like getting a B+ instead of an A- in one class. No one is going to care. But the difference in cGPA is quite large.

no they are in the ballpark... we just wanted to know how much light is shun on sgpa if your cgpa is relatively decent

sGPA is usually more important, but if your cGPA is crap, it won't help you
