Is there a way to know what PMR programs want in addition to what is submitted in our ERAS application? Do I just need to contact all the programs I'm interested in and then submit the additional materials separatley?

It's only been a little over a year that I went through the process, but I don't think there were any "secondary" applications to individual programs like there were when we had applied to medical school. I think the ERAS application is pretty comprehensive, with personal statement, CV and the dean's letter (which is uploaded by your medical school). After that is submitted, programs then make decisions on who they want to grant an interview to, which can be quite variable in terms of turn-around time. Did that answer your question?

yep. thanks. on another note, is there any calendar that is available that lists the application deadlines for the various programs?

Not sure about a calendar, but I know on FREIDA each program has dates listed of when they accept applications and when they conduct interviews.

consider the application deadline to be the first day that ERAS goes live. being early counts a lot in this process (not just for PM&R btw).
