Man, thanks for the heads-up, I'll be sure to update my resume. I dropped Rho Chi off my resume several interviews ago, because I didn't think anyone cared about grades I got 20+ years ago, but I guess I was wrong. Sounds like my ancient Rho Chi membership is ticket to jobs galore!
Ridgway is finally retiring? I could probably do his job. He's the one that yells at you whenever you get sent to the proverbial principle's office. All in all, an okay dude. From what I understand, he literally graduated from WVU several moons ago with a BS and just started working for the school. Comparatively, he isn't that old considering some of the other people there. Does Ma still work there? Dude is going to die in his office some day...Microsoft Solitaire open...one card away from victory...
Working at the SoP for me would be like putting an arachnophobe in a screening of Starship Troopers. I get a purely rage-filled PTSD when I get anywhere close to that damned place. Like that occasional Vietnam veteran you hear about in the Garden section of Walmart trying to find Charlie in the potted plants and azaleas with a BB gun he got from the sporting goods session. Not sure what I'd do, but it would probably be twice as bizarre and somehow get me deported from the state. I actually get WVU football tickets in the TD Terrace just so I don't have to look at the hospital.
Just got a response from a faculty member of my alma mater and they said it must be a regional chain because none of the ones interviewing in the south have made Rho Chi membership a requirement.
