Hi guys,

I am going to take my DAT on the coming Monday
and my dad was telling me to print out the map for the test center

I logged on to www.2test.com, and tried to figure out what's my appointment is. I put my confirmation no. (the one from ADA) and my last name, and then...

Confirmation Number Does Not Match Name

!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I didn't print out the confirmation page when I registered for the test......
and it's Fri night....I can't contact them until next Mon, which will be my DAT day.....


What can I do now 😱

You didnt write down your test time and location? I think all you can do is call them first thing monday morning, or try calling all the prometric centers in your area and try to figure out where/when your scheduled.

I know it is 2:30pm and know the location.
But the thing is I don't know if they will let me take the test if I just walk in there without their system recognition.....

no worries, If they dont let you take it you just will end up rescheduling the test. I bet youll end up being able to take it. Just have a bunch of ID's on you like your driver license and birth certificate.

it will be a pain if they don't let me test on that day..........
especially my dad got a day off just for driving me down there........

You don't need the print out of confirmation or anything.

according to ada http://www.ada.org/prof/ed/testing/dat/regulations.asp
1. When the candidate arrives at the Prometric Testing Center to take the Computerized DAT, two positive (current) forms of identification will be requested. One form bearing a photograph and both with a signature. There must be at least one ID that has both a picture and a signature.

All they needed was my last name. They didn't ask for a confirmation number or anything else. I think you should go take your test if you remember your test date and time. I've heard if you don't cancel 3 days in advance and don't show up you'll have to pay all the fees again.

I just got a call from Prometric center today to confirm my test on Mon!
I can relax a little bit now.....or should I be nervous? 😛

Anyway, just want to make sure one thing
can I put my fingers on the screen or even use customized scratch paper on the PAT section? Is that varies from each centers?

Did you check your email? Usually they send a confirmation email after you schedule a time to your email and it has the confirmation number. Maybe... double check the confirmation number?

Yeah I think the number from ADA is not the one that youre suppose to put in. It is the number from thomson prometric.

Don't worry about it. you don't need a confirmation page. You can request a name change when you get there.
