Would being bilingual (English & Spanish) be a big plus in applying to Pharm. school? I'm currently speaking waiting on an answer from the adviser at SIU-Edwardsville. Wondering what your thoughts might be.
ofcourse! knowing a second language is always a plus.
english + spanish is definitely a plus in southern california and possibly in the lower texas areas
knowing a 2nd language pretty much automatically makes you a little more competitive, especially in the interview process, and ESPECIALLY in the southwest. so if you're a typical "monolinguistic" applicant, you're at a disadvantage, all things being equal.
