Just curious... it seems like everyone on here is 3 hole punching their First Aid. Is anyone leaving it as is? If so, was it enough space to annotate? I'm scared of losing pages if I hole punch it 🙁
how about those hole reinforcer sticky thingys? (if what youre worried about is pages getting ripped out)

I had mine hole-punched and put in a huge binder. Now, I take out the relevant pages (ex. for a 2-week endocrine block), and put the pages in one of those clear plastic 'sleeves'/dividers (don't know how else to describe it), which itself is 3-hole punched.
I take out the pages to read and put them back in when I'm done... that way, the holes in the FA pages remain intact and I don't leave any pages around 🙂
Regarding annotating, I think if it's not in FA, it's not there for a reason... I just write in explainations of concepts that FA has 2 words for. Plus, I annotate in ultra-short-hand...saves me space, but I doubt if someone else could read it...![]()
yeah but see there are things in UW that are not in FA..and since its in UW Im betting its important..so its good to add that piece of information
and the funny thing is that I was also thinking about just taking out and carrying the particular sections I am studying..u mind uploading a pic of wt ur exactly talking about?
I just added in the Biostats stuff from USMLE World and it took up all of the header/footer area on the 4 Biostats pages. I think it comes down to how picky you are in terms of the organization of the notes.
If you need the info right in its relevant section then maybe just keep it bound, but if you aren't too picky unbind it and just add in the relevant information every 5 pages or so.
I wasn't going to but after realizing how much is in UWorld, I think I will.so you didn't unbind yours?
