binge eating disorder and depression

Hi
Does anyone know the best approach to treat binge eating disorder and the general success rates of it. Is that psychological or chemical or both?

How common is it?
What meds do you doctors usually prescribe for your patients...
and most importantly....
can a person recover from it....

and become a doctor?

There are a lot of highly funcional people with eating disorders. With the right help you shouldn't have a problem becoming a physician.
