sup guys. i'm working on final review of bio section just b/f my DAT.

i got confused somehow... on microtubule/basal body/cilia,flagella/ MTOC

microtubule = made of tubulin,9+2 array for cilia/flagella but 3 triplet in basal body and centriole.

MTOC - where microtubule arises, spindle apparatus forms from mtoc (centrosome is animal cell MTOC??)

i'm really confused -.-;; please someone correct those if anything is wrong (i'm sure they are wrong). also how proks' cilia, flagella differ from euks' flagella and cilia? i'm sure it's the component that make of (euks = protein tubulin) but what makes up proks' ?

thank you!! i'm really freaked out b/c i think i'm not prepared for DAT yet but i'm not gona postpone so.. please help me!

Okay, for the statement about eukaryotes and prokaryotes, if they both have cilia and flagella. We know that those are made up of microtubules, therefore, they are also made up of tubulins.

sorry but isn't prok's flagella made of flagellin? or something... just wanted to make sure

My bad, you are right. The basal body, hook, and filaments. NOT microtubules !
