Hey guys,

First I want to thank everyone for contributing to this website. You can't imagine how good it feels to know that I'm not the only one stressing about this exam!

I have read several threads about people who took their DAT's already and many have mentioned that some biology questions are pictures! How can I study for this? Does anyone have a clue as to what subject they are asking pictures about or how I should go about recognizing them? Please help.😎

i had a FRAP picutre...and have had histology pictures asking to identify the type of epithelial cells, or where in the body i would find them. i think that's pretty much it for the types of picture questions you might see

I had this one picture and I had NO idea what it was. I limited it down to two and the guessed.
It really could have gone both ways. I think studying from bio books and seeing pictures in them while you study is enough to be decently prepared for this section.

I'm also pretty worried about the random pictures.. Wish there was some solid way we could prep for em w/o looking at all the diagrams in campbell.

Like I said, just look at some basics pics. They won't ask something that requires you to know what a spleen cell looks like. It is very basic cells and structures.
