Hey guys,

First I want to thank everyone for contributing to this website. You can't imagine how good it feels to know that I'm not the only one stressing about this exam!

I have read several threads about people who took their DAT's already and many have mentioned that some biology questions are pictures! How can I study for this? Does anyone have a clue as to what subject they are asking pictures about or how I should go about recognizing them? Please help.😎

that would be cheating. the fact that you have even heard of such things gives you an unfair advantage as it is... if you know your stuff, then you'll be fine. Just tough it out like everyone else who took the test without knowing the exact questions that were on it.

Yo, if you're going to talk about illegal things here first of all you should not be selling all of your study material because its copyrighted and that's ILLEGAL! In addition, this website is designed for students to help each other. And besides, I didn't ask for specific questions I asked how to study for the sections of pictures in biology because I have heard that they are extremely difficult. SO STOP HATING!!

there is no way to know what kind of pictures you would get on the bio sections. Practice tests don't have them and most of the review materials dont have them either. really just bite the bullet and make an educated guess would be the best way to go. its either you know it or you dont, studying something random and out of the way would probably not help anyways

I actually think this is a very good question. I hope more people respond! I can't believe there's just no way of knowing! And don't worry rromantico, people in SDN can be rood sometimes, and yes, mane haters!

first off, it's not copyright infringement to sell original materials which I am the owner of...

secondly, there is no way to answer your question without telling you what pictures people have seen. sure this site is for helping other students, but you're also not supposed to discuss actual dat material (per your agreement with the ada and sdn). Obviously sdn doesn't enforce this very well, but you can have your scores voided for discussing any portion of the dat or attempting to attain any unreleased info from the test (which is what you are doing).. you already stated that they are in bio, so obviously what you are looking for is specifics.

and i'm assuming you just made that other account, considering how it was creating today for the sole purpose of backing up your ******* statements.


like I said before, just study like everyone else and you will be fine... if you actually know the material, you won't get tripped up on pictures or anything else... on the other hand, if you just blindly memorize facts, you can expect to get a decent amount wrong.

and your other post asking about FRAP is yet another example of you trying to obtain information regarding specific, unreleased questions... so don't pretend like you're not doing anything wrong.

If you read the cover of the Kaplan books, it says "NOT FOR SALE"! So, that makes you the one committing illegal infringements. And also, what you said about the account also tells me that you are a Psycho. People like you probably live alone and have nobody to make them feel happy. Plus,169 post and counting says that you do not have a life and you probably spend 24 hrs a day in front of a computer which also tells me that you are fat. Furthermore, many men that spend ssooo much time in front of a computer end up committing suicide. So, good luck with that. Honestly, by my standards, you need to get laid. So, go sell some of your books so you can go get yourself a hooker. Peace and go make love. 😀

what is the point of insulting people on sdn, he might have 169 posts from the 2 months of him studying for the DATs and asking questions... but if you want other people to contribute and help you out, i dont think you should insult them lol

Haha. If you're going to insult just him, I suggest not pointing out his post count -_-. They're lots of people with lives who post here regularly to help others and you might be drawing unwanted trouble by saying something like that.

I do not mean to insult anybody other than the guy I was talking to. But I, like every dental student here, I am trying to learn as much as possible, and all I asked was a simple question. Then, he comes and shoves it in my face telling me that what I am doing is illegal when he is selling copyrighted books. Which I don't care if he does, that's his business. And about his post, watch me end up with more than he has, and I was only saying it cause' he pissed me off.

Oh well, so anybody recommends any material to study from that has pictures?

If your eyes were functional you would realize I'm selling the blue book, not the classroom book. So you're still wrong.

I'm sure that "go study histology" is the answer you were looking for (not). plus you still have to defend the fact that your asking about FRAP, which is in reference to a SPECIFIC QUESTION on the dat, which is unreleased.

169 isn't anything in comparison to 90% of the people on this site. I weigh 245 lbs of solid muscle and have won multiple body building contests... I could break your wimpy ass with my pinky.

people who fail their dat also have a high suicide rate... and since you are bound to fail (because you suck at life), the likelyhood of you comitting suicide is far greater than my own.

The discussion of questions appearing on the DAT is strictly prohibited. It's hard to ask how to study for a given question without skirting close to breaking the rules. Having said that, this is a professional forum. Please conduct yourselves in a manner as such. Closing thread.
