Hi guys, I just was wondering how you get started preparing for DAT. Did you review your college notes for Biology, or you reviewed the textbook, or you just went directly to practice tests and whatever you didn't know or got wrong there, then you reviewed. And if so what sources did you use to review? Do you remember most of the stuff from college? Please need an advise.

Goto DAT forums and search. It is talked about a million times.

I used Cliff's AP Bio and took notes on the stuff I didn't know in a composition book. The taking notes was probably a waste of time since I didn't refer back to it. The read-through definitely helped, though.

I also read through Ferali's Notes twice. Then I did a bunch of practice problems in various sources, but mostly Bootcamp and Destroyer. I made note of which ones I got wrong in Destroyer in a notebook and then reviewed those as well.

I feel I knew a lot of the stuff from courses I have taken, though.

I also used cliffs AP bio book 3rd edition. Has pretty much everything you need for review, but I also had a strong bio background.

EDIT: I also used Destroyer. Its great for exposing areas that you are weak in.
