I thought the first one is3:0:1, since there is only one trait.
for the second q, we are interested in a particular trait which is alleles, so shouldnt the law of independent assortment govern the idea in the q..thanks

First answer should be 3:0:1. Red is dominant that tells you you can NOT have a pink flower so 3:0:1 is the only choice.

The second answer should be the law of segregation.

Independent assortment basically means that during gamete formation, one GENE doesnt affect another GENE in any way
