On the Kaplan midterm,
It states that "a capillary has a higher osmotic pressure in its blood plasma than the osmotic pressure of the interstitial fluid"
I thought that it's osmotic pressure that opposes hydrostatic pressure which is an outward force out of the capillary and into the interstitial and that the osmotic pressure is the inward force into the capillary. Can someone clear this up for me, I might just be reading it wrong.
