in barrons:
which of the following vessels carries oxygenated blood?
pulmonary artery
umbilical artery
thoracic duct
umbilical vein
hepatic vein

answer in barron's is umbilical artery, which makes sense. however i looked it up on wikipedia.com, and it says the umbilical artery carries deoxygenated blood and the umbilical vein carries oxygenated blood.

it's gotta be the umbilical artery, but who is wrong?

barron is wrong. umbilical vein brings oxygenated blood from the placenta.

you can consider placenta as a temporary lung and nutrient source for the fetus.

i'm going to have alot of bio questions, here's another:

members of two species neither benefit nor harm by association, what is the relationship? isn't this neutralism? barron's says it is commensalism

neutralism isn't a term.

the 3 choices are:
parasitism (win/lose)
commensalism
mutualism (win/win)

anything asking about relationship is referring to the 3 above, any other answer choice is a trap.
