2 net ATP from glycolysis and 2 net ATP from Krebs per one molecule of glucose = 4 NET ATP....times 2 = 8 ATP total from 2 molecules of glucose

since its asking for substrate level its only talking about glycolysis and krebs and not oxidative...

Substrate level means everything but ETC. = 4 times 2 mol glucose = 8.

Well I agree it should be 8 ATPs gross and 4 ATPs net if you are counting 2ATP`s spent for every molecule of glucose at the activation stages. The problem is definitely talking about Glycolysis since it asked for the substrate level phosphorylation.
